The Eastern - Bondi Junction
The Eastern is a 4 level food and entertainment venue in Bondi Junction. Comprising of two restaurants, a LIVE music venue and a sports bar [El Topo Mexican, El Topo Basement & Goodtime Burgers].
As the Marketing Manager at The Eastern I managed all aspects of marketing across all 4 levels including; social media, websites, EDMs, PR, internal and external advertising, promotions, events, communications, etc.
During my time at The Eastern the venue was named Best Entertainment Venue in the 2014 AHA NSW Awards For Excellence.
Some highlights include:
Event management for the X Factor Wrap Party. Personally hosting VIPs & celebrities such as Lil Jon, Redfoo, Ronan Keating, Dannii Minogue and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Spearheading the PR/media for the re-launch of Wednesday Nights at The Eastern. The news story featured on inthemix with over 22,500 views.
Hosting some of Sydney’s top 50 food bloggers at "The Dinner Club Food Bloggers Edition". [The Random Foodie | Sir and M’lady | The Adventures of Miss Piggy | Mademoiselle Mange | Plan MB | Go Bake Yourself aka Choc Chip Uru]
Liaising photo shoots and TV shows for Cosmopolitan Magazine, Rubi Shoes, MAXIM TV, etc.
Featuring the El Topo Basement promotion team in the Wentworth Courier.
Featuring Goodtime Burgers in Sydney Morning Herald GoodFood as one of Sydney’s best new burgers, “Goodtime burgers are good. Really good.”
